When Japan invaded China, the Japanese were the invaders, the Chinese were the victims. Among the two races, there were also the patriots and the betrayers. It was a long war against Japan, and the Chinese people almost lost everything, including houses, money and lives. Because of the war, everyone's life changed, including Myolie Wu's family, who used to be one of the richest family in the city of NanJing. Because of the war, most people's destiny changed: the students became the patriots, the money lover became the betrayers, and Ron Ng became a Japanese.
